Corbett Brook Trail Work

Today the 5th Fredericton Scouts, Venturers and Rovers maintained the Corbett Brook Trail by trimming brush and by removing trash. We had a lot of fun and explored the trail.

We also found an old culvert for Corbett Brook that runs under the Vanier trail, bearing the year 1923!

Taking a break for a quick hot dog lunch.

Thanks to Loblaw for their "Environmental Scout Initiatives" grant to do this work. It helped provide the hand tools, garbage bags and PPE necessary to do the work today. We will also use the funds to install interpretive signs along the trail.
