Corbett Brook Trail - Reopening

We had our grand re-opening of our section of the Corbett Brook Trail this morning. It was well attended by our Scouts, Cubs and Rovers, parents of 5th Fredericton, Fredericton Mayor Brad Woodside, New Brunswick Council Commissioner Peter Kent, and a representative from the Fredericton Trails Coalition.

Corbett Brook Trail - Invitation to Reopening

As part of the rejuvenation the Corbett Brook Trail, the 5th Fredericton Scout Group will be officially reopening a section of the trail at 10:00am, October 22, 2011, with Mayor Brad Woodside performing the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Corbett Brook Trail Work

Today the 5th Fredericton Scouts, Venturers and Rovers maintained the Corbett Brook Trail by trimming brush and by removing trash. We had a lot of fun and explored the trail.

Mapping out Corbett Brook Nature Trail

Our Scout Group recently applied for an environmental grant from Loblaw to clean up the Corbett Brook Nature Trail. On December 4, 2010, we had an afternoon of mapping the trail to get a feel for how much work would have to be done. Thomas, Scouter Ken and Scouter Lars were in attendance.
